The Church is not an event or a place, but the gathered people of God. Therefore, we gather as the Church, every Sunday, in order that we might love and glorify Him together. We come together to hear from God through the preaching of his Word. In worship, we respond to his Word by faith and we receive his ordinary means of grace through communion and baptism.

We do life in community to know one another and be known by one another. In community, we walk with one another in suffering and in celebration. We love and encourage one another by remembering what Christ has done for us, delighting in what Christ is doing in us, and anticipating what Christ has yet to do.

Mercy is not motivated by compulsion, duty, or guilt. Mercy is the overflow of a grateful heart. Because we have experienced God’s love, through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we seek to love our neighbors as Christ has loved us.
